Successful Email Campaign after using Clip-board Sign On Form

This week, one the Blue Bird Internet Marketing Business Client has achieved very successful results after publishing their first Email Newsletter after using a sign-on form on a clip-board in-store.

Blue Bird Internet Marketing set up an Email Database for Email Newsletters for a client using a professional email program.  The client runs a cafe that has customers of a wide age group and demographic. 
To ensure that we did not miss the chance to connect with all customers we ensured all possible avenues for
information collection were covered.  Using the professional online Email Newsletter account, we designed a customer list, sign-up forms and then integrated this sign up form into a separate custom-tab on the client's Facebook Business Page and also on their website in two different areas.  As the business receives a lot of foot traffic we also decided to do an easy sign-up form on a Clipboard that was placed at the business counter.  The success of this clip-board newsletter sign-on surprised even me.  Within days the clipboard had over 60 names and E-mail addresses added to it - all from customers who were generally interested in the businesses products and information. Staff at the business were very helpful in the sign-up process, explaining to customers what the sign-up was for and what type of information they would be receiving - which
also attributed to the success of the clip-board.

links were provided on the Facebook Business page to the online sign-up form for the business as well, which also resulted in new subscribers - however not as many as the in-store subscribe form.

The first Email Campaign launched for this business sent out to the customers and clients who had subscribed to the email database was very successful.  Open rates exceeded 70% which (anything above 50% is fabulous for an email campaign) with clicks on links provided.  I believe the success of this campaign was attributed to the fact that all receivers signed up because they were generally interested in the business and what news it had, along with a well  designed and well executed email newsletter.
