Tressa Lindenberg Inspires all Women at International Women's Day 2012

Everything is Possible!! This is the new moto for International Women's Day in Australia and what an inspirational moto it is. I was thrilled to be part of the committee for this year's International Women's Day Event for Highfields, Queensland. This is the second year that an event of this kind has been held in Highfields.
This year I was pleased to recommend the amazing Tressa Lindenberg as the Inspirational Guest Speaker for the Highfields Internationl Women's Day Event. Tressa is the owner of Sovereign Property Partners in Toowoomba, she is a motivated single mother to three children, she is well known for her sucess with long distance running and adventure racing, representing Australia. Tressa spoke on the challanges that she has faced in her life and offered advice on the life skills he has learned. Tressa's speech was heartfelt and humourous, and she is a walking proof, that life really is what you make it, and that women really can do anything!

Just over 30 ladies attended this years Dinner event at La Fresco Restaurant, Jacaranda Manor, Highfields, enjoying pasta and gourmet pizza, with musical entertainment by Victoria Q and spectacular fire twirling by QJam Entertainment.

Guests were treated to some beautiful business displays by local Women Business Owners. Business's featured at this year's event were Miglio Designer Jewellery, Intimo Lingerie, Ruby Sparrow, Twig & Blossom, What Can I Eat and Blue Bird Internet Marketing.

I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the committee for International Women's Day Highfields, and have many ideas for next year's event allready. A big thank-you to the rest of the team, Barb, Kris, Jo and Anita, you all continue to amaze and inspire me.
